Vernal, Utah, October 28, 2024 — Christmas tree permits will be available starting on November 14th for the public at all Ashley National Forest offices and vendors.
Permit tags are $15.00 in person at vendors and our offices as well as online at www.recreation.gov. If you choose to purchase your permit online at Recreation.gov there is a service fee.
Fourth graders may receive a free Christmas tree tag by following the instructions on the website www.everykidoutdoors.gov. Your free tag must be picked up in person at a Forest Service Office.
This year vendors are located at:
• Vernal Area: Davis Food and Drug in Vernal, Liberty Corner in Lapoint, and our office located at 355 N Vernal Avenue.
• Duchesne-Roosevelt Area: Hanna Country Store in Hanna, Stewarts in Roosevelt, Davis Market in Roosevelt and the Duchesne-Roosevelt District Office in Duchesne.
• Manila-Dutch John Area: Flaming Gorge Market in Manila, the Flaming Gorge Resort near Dutch John and the Flaming Gorge District Office in Manila.
