Everyone enjoyed a great time at the Parade, Daggett Daze in the park, the PRCA Rodeo, the Parade of Lights and last but not least the Fireworks! Who could have asked for more! A shout out to everyone who made all these events so spectacular. The Utah Association of Counties Conference (UAC) was held in Provo. It’s a great way for our elected officials to meet with their contemporaries and learn of any legislative issues that need to be brought to the attention of those on the Hill. Our UAC team does a phenomenal job of keeping all of Utah’s county governing bodies abreast of legislative bills and policies that could affect decisions pertaining to each. Brian Raymond, County Clerk and Lesa Asay, County Assessor, who are retiring at the end of their terms this December, were recognized at the closing dinner for all their years of service to the county. THANK YOU! A major thank you to our Search and Rescue Team for all their hard efforts this month. It was a tough one.
