You must bring ID (and proof of residency if you have recently moved). Ballots will be mailed out by November 6, 2023. You may sign up for text, email, or phone call notification for the status of your mailed ballot at: https://ballottrax.utah.gov/voter/ . If you will be out of town after that time, contact us at the number below for an Alternate Address Form. If you cannot read or mark a ballot, we can provide assistance or the use of a ballot marking device with accessible features (e.g.: audio ballot, touch screen, large print, high contrast), so please contact the Clerk’s Office as outlined below. Voters must be of legal voting age, citizens of the United States, and reside in the precincts within the town boundaries of Manila and Dutch John.
VOTER REGISTRATION DEADLINE
The Registration Deadline is NOVEMBER 13TH AT 5:00 PM. If you miss this deadline please bring your id and proof of residency and vote provisionally during Early Voting or Election Day.
EARLY VOTING
Early Voting will take place at the Daggett County Courthouse (95 North 1st West; Manila, Utah) on Monday, November 13, Wednesday, November 15 and Friday, November 17, 2023 from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm for both municipalities. Early Voting in Dutch John will be held Thursday, November 16th, 2023 at the Conference Hall (530 South Blvd.; Dutch John, Utah) from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm and is also available for residents of both municipalities.
DROP BOXES
Ballot Drop Boxes are located at the Conference Hall in Dutch John (530 South Blvd.; Dutch John, Utah) and the County Courthouse in Manila (95 North 1st West; Manila, Utah) and are available 24-7. Drop Boxes are under video surveillance. An Additional Drob Box is available from 9 am to 5 pm in the Clerk’s Office at the Courthouse. All Drop boxes will close at 8:00 pm on Election Day.
VOTE BY MAIL
Ballots MUST be Postmarked by the day before Election Day (November 20th) to be counted.
LOGIC AND ACCURACY TESTING
Public Testing of the Voting Equipment for logic and accuracy will be performed Thursday, November 2, 2023 at the Daggett County Clerk’s Office at 2:00 pm.
