Northwest Pipeline Company, LLC Wild Trail Project Northwest Pipeline, LLC (Northwest) a subsidiary of The Williams Companies, Inc (Williams), filed an application Docket No. CP25-497-000 with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) for a Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity (Certificate) under Section 7(c) of the Natural Gas Act to construct, install, modify, operate and maintain its Wild Trail Project, (sometimes referred to as the “Project”). The Project will provide an additional 57,955 dekatherms per day of northbound f irm transportation service to the Northwest Pipeline system and contract an additional 25,000 dekatherms per day of existing southbound firm transportation service. The existing southbound service will provide firm transportation from the existing Wild Horse Receipt Point to the existing Ignacio Delivery Point, which interconnects with El Paso Natural Gas in La Plata County, Colorado. The 57,955 Dth/d of new northbound firm transportation service will be provided by installing a new compressor station adjacent to the existing Clay Basin Meter Station (MS).
No new pipelines are proposed in this project.
Northwest owns and operates an interstate natural gas pipeline system and is regulated by FERC. The company must obtain FERC approval to construct the proposed facility. A separate notice regarding Northwest’s application will be mailed to affected landowners and other stakeholders involved with the project.
