In November, the Daggett County Community Economic Opportunity Advisory Board and our Commissioners offered grant funding to local businesses to help promote new and future development within the county. Four $10,000.00 grants and three $5000.00 grants were established. We received SEVENTEEN applications! Everyone had great applications and were reviewed and scored by an agency outside of Daggett County. Our $10,000.00 awardees were Steven Wood, Flaming Gorge Plumbing, Lexi Taylor, Sweet and Bubbly, Carol Slaugh, Birch Creek RV Rentals and Woody Bair, Flaming Gorge Resort. Our $5,000.00 awardees were Justin von Eberstein, Altering Substances, Brian Tedesco, Flaming Gorge Brew Company and Emily Forbes, Forbes Family Farm. We are looking forward to providing this program again this year. Let’s hope for a rewarding year for 2025!
