Daggett County Municipal Building Authority is requesting Bids for the construction of the Dutch John Water Treatment Plant as part of the following project:
Dutch John Water Improvements Project
Bids will be received at 148 S Vernal Avenue, Vernal, UT 84078, or mailed to 148 S Vernal Avenue, Vernal UT, 84078, or submitted on the Sunrise plan room until October 28, 2024 at 5:00 p.m. local time. Bids will be opened and read During Commission meeting October 29, 2024.
The project:
Construction of a water treatment building located in the town of Dutch John Utah. Treatment Equipment will be Westech Ultrafiltration equipment, supplied by Daggett County/Dutch John Water. Additional work will include but not limited to pipework, foundation, sitework, installation of treatment equipment and other associated components. construction includes the removal of the existing treatment equipment to be scheduled after the completion of the new plant and upgrades to the existing building. The new building will be a metal building sized to house the treatment equipment approx. 50’ x 60’. A Foundation plan will need to be prepared by the contractor for the specifics of the metal building design.
Completion date for construction is expected to be July 3, 2025, with demolition and upgrades of existing building to be scheduled with Dutch John Water at a later date.

Pre-bid Conference:
A Mandatory pre-bid conference will be held on Wednesday October 9, 2024, 11:00 a.m. meeting at the Dutch John Airport , Dutch John, UT 84023
Instruction to Bidders: For further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders that are included in the Bidding Documents. Daggett County may reject any or all bids submitted. Advertised September 27, 2024- October 28, 2024
