As required by Utah Code Ann. § 53-2d-507(1)(c), notice is given that Flaming Gorge Fire & EMS District has applied for a new license to provide Advanced Emergency Medical Technician (AEMT) Ground Ambulance Transport and a Paramedic Non-Transport with the Utah Department Public Safety, Bureau of Emergency Medical Services (“BEMS”).BEMS will be accepting public comments to determine whether to grant Flaming Gorge Fire & EMS District with a new Paramedic Non-Transport License.
Flaming Gorge Fire & EMS District proposes to provide Advanced Emergency Medical Technician (AEMT) Ground Ambulance Transport service in the following geographic area:
The geographic boundaries of Daggett County.
Starting at the northern corner of the Summit County /Daggett County/ Wyoming border; then east to the Daggett County /Wyoming border; then south along the Daggett County/Colorado border to the Uintah County/Uintah County/Colorado border; then west along the Uintah County/Daggett County border to the Uintah County /Daggett County /Summit County border then north to the point of the beginning.
The public may provide comments concerning the granting of a new Advanced Emergency Medical Technician (AEMT) License to Flaming Gorge Fire & EMS District by submitting written comments to BEMS, attention Director Bushman, until September 19, 2024 at 5:00 p.m. Director Bushman may be contacted via email at dbushman@utah.gov
